Case Study 

A Smith & Nephew representative (Vendor) did not show up for a total knee replacement surgery. The scheduler forgot to inform the vendor about the added on surgery for that day's scheduled surgeries. The miscommunication resulted in the surgery manager and surgeon having to delay the surgery until the Vendor was contacted and informed about the surgery.

Solution
The scheduler using Medical PDQ can inform multiple necessary personnel of scheduled appointed surgery simultaneously, including vendors.
